In a world where many children are hungry, My Coins Count funds will be used to support MCC FOOD projects in 2023.

Be creative in finding ways to multiply your coins to feed hungry people. Perhaps someone in the congregation can offer “seed” grants to children, to fund creative ideas – bake sales, lemonade stands, craft projects or other ideas, to help children generate more coins to feed people.

There are other creative ways of collecting money for My Coins Count (MyCC). Families are encouraged to collect coins and bills in their homes to be ready to add to your church collection when your congregations starts collecting their MyCC collections.

Checks should be made out to Michiana Mennonite Relief Sale - designated for My Coins Count and either delivered to the MyCC booth at the sale or mailed to PO Box 243, Goshen, IN 46527. Matching checks can either go through the church treasurer or be made out to MMRS and brought to the sale. Below is a listing of last year’s collections by churches and will be updated as this year’s contributions are received.

Resources available include a printable giving calendar giving ideas for collecting coins and a fun and educational food page. Additional resources are available on the My Coins Count website.

The pictures below show ways that some churches used to collect quarters and found it to be a lot of fun and meaningful.
